PowerCombo-C20 is a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 1.1MWh, suitable for small C&I, micro-grid, distributed renewable energy power stations and other scenarios. This system employs a prefabricated structure in a 20ft. containers with a modular design. Eight sets of 138kWh energy storage units, PCS, transformers, fire protection units, environmental monitoring units are neatly integrated inside the container. Safe operation of the system across the entire life cycle is ensured by separating the battery compartments from the electrical compartments as well as employing fire protection pipelines and optimized air ducts.
In the case that the user-side load is higher than the capacity coming from the grid, PowerCombo-C20 employs a dispatch strategy to automatically compensate capacity to the power distribution system and improve the voltage quality on the user side.
Store energy in off-peak hours and release during on-peak hours, to reduce electricity costs by partially replacing expensive on-peak electricity.
Establish good interactions with the power grid partners by getting involved in demand response programs. Contribute to reducing peak load. Get incentives from the grid.
Ensure that renewable energy can be easily dispatched. PowerCombo-C20 will release energy when in need, to offset peak load and reduce the use of grid power during peak hours.
Fully leverage the flexible energy storage system to increase the consumption of electricity generated from renewable energy sources and reduce the curtailment of wind and solar power, so as to alleviate the stress on the grid during peak and valley hours.
PowerCombo-C20 can be used as a backup power supply in the event of a sudden power outage. The discharge mode will be instantly switched on to offer support to critical loads and safeguard the normal operation of critical loads.
